Employee Spotlight: Taylor Simpson

In our latest Employee Spotlight, we sat down with Taylor Simpson, to learn more about what makes her successful in her role as a People Operations Manager and how she continues to contribute to the well-being of our team.
What do you do at LeapPoint?
As People Operations Manager I handle all things HR including payroll, benefits, compliance, and policy management. I promise it’s more exciting than it sounds! Having started as an “HR Department of one” at LeapPoint almost 5 years ago, I’m thrilled to play role in evolving our People Operations strategy and enriching our employee experience.
Which of our company values resonates with you most?
I would say Put People First and Evolve and Grow. As someone who is on the ground level of maintaining employment policies and driving internal change efforts, these values provide perspective and direction in every decision I make.
What have been your most significant achievements working for our company?
Having seen the company go from 32 employees in the U.S. to now more than 75 across 4 countries, I’m so grateful for the opportunity to support our company’s continued growth. Supporting a rapidly growing workforce means continually adjusting, including enrichments to our benefits and overall employee experience which is extremely rewarding.
What keeps you motivated outside of work?
I enjoy lifting weights, singing and performing in community musical theater, and traveling or hitting up local events and foodie adventures with my fiancé. And I occasionally can be found embarking on a baking project with a glass of wine and a podcast!
