Employee Spotlight: Gagan Soodan

LeapPoint is a team full of talented individuals who offer fresh perspectives and reliable expertise. We thrive on change and believe every viewpoint has value. That’s why people prefer to work with us—and why our employees love working for us. Check out our new Employee Spotlight featuring Gagandeep Singh Soodan, Director of Alliances & Pre-Sales!

What do you do at LeapPoint?

I lead the pre-sales and alliances team at LeapPoint. I liaison between the technical architecture and sales teams, ensuring that the sales team gets the required technical assistance to sell effectively. Intuitively, I ensure the technical architecture team gets the relevant industry and field intelligence to build and refine our sandbox environments which are core to our Connected Work demonstration.

What makes you want to stay at our organization?

The two things that make me stay at LeapPoint are:

People: We have bright, intelligent, and helpful people around us. And this not only keeps me going but also pushes me to stay ahead of the curve. LeapPoint’s people are the foundation of its success.

Employee Experience: The leadership is fantastic; we have a clear vision and defined goals. The employees are well-respected, heard, and adequately empowered to make the best decisions.

Which company value resonates with you the most?

Putting People First – This thought defines my existence, and this value represents LeapPoint. This is where we (LeapPoint and I) resonate.

What have been your most significant achievements working for our company?

Laying out the connected work strategy and architecture along with Nik and Don McAdang. Over the past year, we have made tremendous progress by continuously refining the story and value. This is the most significant achievement for me.

Who inspires you the most at LeapPoint?

I would say these two:

Jen Krempa: For her intelligence and humbleness. She sets the bar so high when it comes to practically anything, be it technology, strategy, consulting, or even a friendly conversation.

Nicholas DeBenedetto: For his ability to get the best out of you. He is one of the finest storytellers in the tech industry. But most importantly, he will always have your back in any situation.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I try keeping up with my tennis buddies, and most recently, gardening has been topping the list of my recreation activities.
